Applied Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
This professional development course, presented in a "Train the Trainer" format, provides a comprehensive overview of guiding principles of ethics in the responsible application of artificial intelligence (AI). Participants will explore various approaches to designing ethical AI systems while examining common ethical pitfalls such as bias, unintended consequences, and privacy violations. The course emphasizes the importance of ethical frameworks, including human-centered AI, transparency, fairness, autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and privacy, to help participants navigate the complexities of AI development.
This PD will be available through April 30, 2025. Two hours of PD credit will be awarded for each module completed.
