Most online instructors have been posting announcements for many semesters or even years, but are they effective or just skimming the surface? The Announcements area is an important means of contact with online students each week to fulfill the ongoing interaction requirement in our online classes. This workshop will discuss the importance of regular announcements and ways to make them informative, encouraging, and engaging.
